Heidi undertakes a limited number of commissions. Work is carried out from your own favourite photographs.   A good, clear, close up photograph of high resolution, with as much detail as possible, is preferred. When taking your photographs, true colour likeness is easiest to capture with the camera flash turned off, and ideally, the picture taken outside in natural daylight.  Remember – the better the photograph, the better the portrait!

All portraits are created using the finest professional quality materials including stretched cotton or linen canvas, Winsor & Newton Artist quality oil paint and varnish, or pastelmat with Faber-Castell pastels and coloured pencils, always giving a luxurious professional finish.

From time to time, photographs of commissions are used for display on the website, facebook, and other promotional situations. If you do not want your portrait to be displayed in this way, please inform Heidi at time of booking.
