If you require your portrait for a special date, please state this at the time of order and I will do her very best to accommodate your requirements.

Photographs – If possible, please send a selection of photographs with an attractive pose, and as close up with as much detail as possible. Try to photograph the subject at eye level rather than looking up at them, or down from above their head. Photographs are usually best when taken outside in natural light, without the use of a flash. High resolution digital photographs are preferred. These can be emailed to info@heidihutchinson.co.uk, loaded on a facebook message, or posted on a CD. Remember – the better the photograph, the better the portrait!

Please insure that you have permission to use the photographs, and they are copyright free.

Portraits usually take from 4 to 6 weeks, but spaces get booked up early at busy times such as Christmas, so please book as early as possible.

On completion, a photograph of the finished portrait will be sent for approval.  Only when you are completely satisfied with the finished artwork, will it be varnished/mounted and framed if required.

Payment – No payment is requested up front, as I appreciates the unusual situation of committing to purchase the artwork “unseen”.  Full payment will become due only after completion and approval.  All portraits must be paid for in full before they are dispatched. Payment can be made by bank transfer, paypal, or cheque.

(In the unlikely event that you are not totally delighted with your portrait, you are under no obligation to purchase, and the portrait will remain the property of Heidi to sell, reproduce or utilise as she sees fit).

Portraits are usually delivered by Royal Mail Parcel Force. They are painstakingly packaged to ensure safe delivery.  International postage can be arranged.

Gift vouchers are also available and can be purchased through the shop.  These can be personalised and presented in a gift card if required.
